For reservations of two or more people, we require a 50% credit card deposit charge in advance to hold the reservation. We ask that you let us know of your group cancellation at least 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiture of the 50% charge. Late group cancellations within 24 hours or group no-shows will bear the 50% deposit forfeiture. Partial group cancellations within 24 hours or partial group no-shows will bear the 50% deposit forfeiture pro-rated according to the number of cancellations or no-shows.
Client information and email lists are confidential, and we do not share our lists with outside companies. All therapists at Relax Ave Day Spa respect client confidentiality outside the bodywork session.
Each massage therapist determines how best to perform your therapeutic session to meet your needs and is willing to take directives regarding massage pressure and areas that require special attention. Please advise your massage therapist of any physical challenges you may have or if you are pregnant or are in any physical pain. Feedback about the effectiveness of the work, situations or body areas that may be uncomfortable or painful, techniques that you enjoy or did not like is very important. Please feel free to share this information as you become aware of it. If we do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, please tell us immediately.
Please help us keep the spa a sanctuary of relaxation. We ask that you speak softly (spa voice) so all can enjoy their treatments.
We suggest that you arrange for any jewelry or other valuables before your visit with us rather than bring them to our spa. We ask that you remove all obstructive jewelry or accessories that may interfere with your massage before your session begins. Please do not ask our massage therapists to remove jewelry or accessories on your behalf. Our massage therapists are forbidden from removal of jewelry from your person. You may be asked to remove obstructive jewelry yourself or else our massage therapists will do their best to massage around such areas. We regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of personal articles, including jewelry, clothing, and accessories. You are responsible for your personal property during your visit. We may try to contact you after finding personal property but we are not responsible for lost property or items left behind. Please be sure to take all clothing, jewelry, and other personal items with you at the conclusion of your session.
